ReplyDeleteChristians "co-opted" many Pagan rituals in order to get Pagans to come into the Christian religion and tow the line. That was the way they worked.
ReplyDeleteand the timeline too! first Sunday after the first full moon of the spring equinox ... SOOOOOO Pagan! Especially when the Bible clearly ties Jesus to a specific event: Passover.
