I fired my blast in the war on Christmas this year....but take warning, even you all might find it a tad offensive...The best anti Christmas punk rock song ever by the late great Detroit performer Bootsey X and his band The Love Masters. Santa's Got A Bomb For Whitey! Meanwhile, we did have friends over here for a nice warm day. I made a lamb tagine and my wife did her epic chocolate creation, The Nyragango....named after an African volcano. I was off line for the last 2 days because I gave my computer a present! I upgraded the operating system to Yosemite OS10.10. Lot's of nail biting on my part, but it seems to have been a total success. It's really like a new machine! In spite of the bah humbug, I really want to wish you all my warmest seasonal greetings and best wishes. I seem to have a bottle of St. Croix du Mont left over....so my seasonal warmth is going to continue...luckily, we are invited out for New Years....and all I have to do is try to stay on the dirt road on the way back from the neighbors down the hill!
COMMENT: Ben Franklin said, "I imagine a man must have a good deal of vanity who believes, and a good deal of boldness who affirms, that all doctrines he holds are true, and all he rejects are false."
The "War on Xmas" seems to have tapered off a little this year, but it still inspires feelings like those expressed in this blog post!!

ReplyDeleteOMG! I'm so glad it's almost over, then we can relax for a while. But for not Merry Christmas to you and your family, darlin.
