BANK OF AMERICA SUX

LET YOUR MONEY DO THE TALKING AGAINST THESE CORPORATE BANDITS!

The Servicemember's Civil Relief Act, bars mortgage lenders from foreclosing on active-duty military personnel serving overseas. But in complete disregard for the law, there have been thousands of cases of military families facing foreclosure while a family member was serving in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Bank of America foreclosed on 2,400 service men during 1010 and 2011. Now that it has been made public and they are trying to quietly pay some restoration.

If you hold a credit card from Bank of America – refinance the son-of-a-bitch with a local credit union and close the account.

  1. Old Buzzard,
I am new to your blog - So, greetings from Sarge. Not season greetings, just greetings.
The thing the military needs to do is simply put Bank of America OFF LIMITS to military personnel (that means, everyone - active duty,
guard, reserve, and even we retirees). The problem is the lobbyists and the whores we have in Congress that turn their asses up for the
"campaign contibutions (aka bribes) will stop that from happening. I think Ft Campbell put the payday loan shark places off limits.
There used to be a US Disciplinary Board in every state that handled that - I think that is now up to the installation commanders.

  2. Personally, I don't know why anyone would want to be with B of A or any other bank for that matter. When I moved I opened a new account at a local bank and they charge me $6 a month and so I'm thinking about closing it and simply having no bank account. Social Security now lets you deposit your money into a debit card and it has worked quite well for me for three months now. No hidden fees; actually no fees if you don't use ATM's.

I did some temp work for Private Bank, B of A's bank within for rich people, and those are the only accounts they really are interested in having.

  3. Rubye Jack,
This thing with the SS checks being made to go to a bank can be opted out of. There are old people who cannot deal with anything other than cash. Mom is 87 and balancing a check book would baffle her. Trying to convince old people that the card you gave them is the same as money is flat-assed impossibile.
