The candidates from both
parties constantly throw out numbers about our Nations debt and indebtedness. As TV consumers we hear these numbers but
they don’t register: ten million
dollars to Sesame Street
Let’s break this down to Sesame Street
If you take a drum stick and
bang it on the table once every second, it will take you twelve days (24 hours
a day seven days a week) to bang out one million.
It will take you thirty-two
years to bang out one billion.
It will take you thirty-two
thousand years to bang out one trillion.
Honey Boo Boo’s sister has
two thumbs, and she is the only one in her family that can count to eleven without
taking off her shoes. How can we
understand numbers that we are physically unable to count?

I love facebook for one reason..all my 'friends' post all the lies the Romney /Ryan people are sending out and calling them on it..The newspapers are calling them on it, the News shows are calling them on it(even Fox called them a liar)..and none of my friends watch honey boo boo..thank the Goddess.

ReplyDeleteNo one can comprehend numbers that big which is why elected representatives tend to beat to death little numbers they understand. Ten days arguing about $10 million and pass a $1 trillion without debate. Hooman beens.
