Many of the shelves in the Walmart stores here in Maine are empty. It could be because of transportation problems, lack of staff at warehouse facilities or prior government policies…
The bottom line is: we cannot rely on the
way things have always been – expecting things to return to normal.
We are living in the new normal. I am not suggesting people dig a bug-out-shelter and imitate zombie preppers.
I am
saying that it is prudent for people to build up a reasonable pantry. Each time you shop you should buy in a few extras
can goods or dried food…and toilet paper.
With the
corona virus surge and thirty percent of the population refusing to get
vaccinated, food and other supply chains could be interrupted again. When a replay of the toilet paper stamped occurs
you won’t be panicked.
Speaking of
toilet paper, have you noticed that rolls used to be four-inches-wide, are now
three-and -one-half inches wide?
