I HAVE FINALLY FOUND THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE RELIGION
Voodoo is the white side of the one true religion that originated with the original people in Africa, the birth place of human beings. Juju is the dark side of that practice.
So, every body has been worshiping the wrong gods. The Great Juju, lives at the bottom of the ocean; and she is not happy.
You think the world is experiencing global warming? Wrong.
The great Juju at the bottom of the sea is having PMS, so you better get your act straight and sacrifice a chicken as penance for worshiping false gods.
If you don't repent, the zombie apocalypse could be next.
Juju loves me, this I know
For Marie LaVeau told me so
But if I don't respect her spells
She will send me down to hell
But, don't eat the chicken

LIBERALS AS OUT OF TOUCH AS THE IDIOT RIGHT
The world is
in chaos because of religions, while at the same time liberals stoically defend
the freedom of religion. Liberals
constantly cry that it is not the Islamic religion that is a problem but ‘religious
extremist’ that are committing the senseless mass killings performed by ISIS
and other groups.
In our
liberal bubble we see the world as we would like it to be; which is as removed
from reality as the Fox News Network.
The Muslim
religion is a barbaric sixth century religion and its tenants are being acted
out all over the world.
Violence is the nature of that religion and
only pie in the sky liberals are willing to defend it in order to be politically
correct and not offend the millions of Muslims that practice and believe its misogynistic
and bloodletting philosophy.
At the same
time we must call out the Christian religion as totally ridiculous in its
beliefs and philosophy.
A large
percentage of the Christians in this country would see our nation declared a
Christian theocracy; a religious state that criminalizes abortions, persecutes
gay citizens, denies science and teaches its two millennium old dogma in our
school systems.
It is only the First Amendment to the
Constitution that has protected us thus far, and that is slowly eroding as religious
conviction is becoming a test for Presidential candidates.
That same First Amendment protects a personal
right to practice a religion; but that should not preclude us from decrying tenants
of religions that are violent, bigoted and ridiculously ignorant in the
twenty-first century – and that includes Christianity.
The only excuse
you can give for the far right of the Republican Party is to say that they are bat
shit crazy; but the far left of the Democratic Party – Liberals – while not
crazy in the same comparison as the far right, have been smelling too many
unicorn farts.
Liberals
need to step out of their bubble of rainbows and stop defend all religious
beliefs. Liberals need to take a step
back into the real world, as they have become part of the problem.

BULLSHIT BUDDHISM
Coming out
of sleep I lay in bed
The fan
blowing a gentle breeze across my body
I kicked off
the covers and stretched
I cleared my
mind from monkey dreams
And listened
to the quietness of the house
Zen
I have been
to a Zen sangha – a Buddhist teaching community – and have read extensively; and one lie that is promulgated throughout, is that it is necessary to have a
physical teacher in order to achieve enlightenment – to become a Buddhist.
Buddhism,
and in particularly Zen, in its most basic teachings is not about teachers or chants
(Koan), not about robes, bells, whistles, icons or timed meditation. Buddhism is simply a path to help a person achieve
contentment by appreciating every conscious waking moment; and Zen is a path to
achieve that consciousness through meditation.
The Buddha found
enlightenment by himself and each of us have a Buddha nature. When we are seeking a more contented nature
me can distill Buddhist writings and lectures to a basic path that fits our own
individual needs.
Christianity
became a religion in 325 AD at the council of Nicea (Nicaea) when men decided
that Jesus was a god, and what writings would compose the bible, and what the
laws and teachings should be.
Likewise
after the death of the Buddha, men who had been explaining the simple concept
of achieving contentment through focusing on the beauty of the Now, began
adding trappings and rituals and requirements that was not the intent of the
Buddha. Teachers venerate themselves, they set
themselves up as somehow superior to us – again not the intent of the
Buddha.
If you are
interested in alleviating stress and living a more conscious life I would suggest
you read Buddhist materials – but not take them as gospel.
In my opinion, the best Buddhist (Zen)
teachings, the most distilled and easiest practiced and understood can be found
in two books by Steve Hagen: Buddhism Plain and Simple and Buddhism Is Not What You Think.
“Buddhism is not about beliefs and practices…
it is not a religion. It is about the
teachings of awakening – about examining the world clearly.”

The president is now getting heat from the Christian 'right' about his comments that all religions, including Christianity, have gone through eras of religious mania resulting in unbelievable atrocities.
He actually fell short of literally condemning all religions - including Christianity - that serve no actual purpose on the earth except to divide. The few food pantries run by good people are not a counter argument.

MEMORIES
During the 1950, when I was a
teenager in Mississippi – and before
television, I often listen to gospel music radio programs out of Memphis late at
night. That is when I first heard Windy
Bagwell.
He was a gospel
singer/comedian; and his routine I remember best was the story about a snake
handling church in Tennessee .
It is funny how something
like this that has lain dormant in my id for decades can surface. For some reason as you grow older you seem to
recover memories long forgotten.
I looked him up on YouTube and unbelievably found this clip.
Anyway here is Windy Bagwell and the Rattle Snake Story:
And the spirit continues:
Most Christians are parrots and social conformist; but these guys are real believers.
