My RAV-4 is
thirteen years old. Three years ago, my
headlight lenses were so yellowed that I could barely see my way home through a
snowstorm. That following summer, I
accessed YouTube and searched for headlight restoration kits. I settled on Griot’s Ceramic Headlight Restoration
kit, because it did not require a power drill to buff out the lens – the sanding
was done by hand.
I took out
my lawn chair, spent about ten minutes on each lens, and the results were
remarkable.
Two winters
later, my headlights have some cloudiness, but are still drastically better
than the yellow, opaque lenses of earlier.
I have no connection with Griot’s – just passing on my experience.
