It is not just because that my wife and I graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington - It really is the finest small university in New England. The college has received excellence awards for the last ten years. The students are great - civic minded and valued members of the community. Too boot, the town of Farmington is the perceived, ideal image of what a small Maine village is suppose to look like.
