I find it
difficult to blog my trivial thoughts at a time when the world seems to be going to pot.
A two-hundred-thirty-year-old
democracy is systematically being dismantled by an ignorant, racist, bigoted,
egocentric, would-be tin pot dictator that is fanatically loved and supported
by forty-seven percent of the population.
Hitler was elected in a free and fair election.
The world is
in the midst of a plague that so far has resulted in two-hundred-thousand
deaths in the United States and over a million deaths world-wide, and has not
yet crested.
The world
climate has finally reached a tipping point brought about by human over pollution. The arctic ice, Greenland icecap and
Antarctic ice shelves are melting and calving at an alarming rate. Climate change is visible across the
country, with devastating forest fires in the west, increased hurricane
activity in the Atlantic, increased droughts and tornado activity, and animal
migration moving north.
Religious
cults are waring, killing, murdering and trying to covertly insert their
bigoted and pious doctrines into public policy and government rule.
Where in the
hell is that fucking meteor that will plummet into earth and perform a reset,
and rid the world of this despicable and destructive species?
