August 11, 1945 - One week after dropping a nuclear bomb on Hiroshima, Japan and killing 140,000 men, women and children, the United States dropped a second nuclear bomb on Nagasaki killing an additional 70,000 human beings. The attack on the twin towers pales in comparison.
I wasn't born yet but my dad was sailing on tankers in the Pacific during the war. Too bad Japan didn't throw in the towel sooner... all that death is so sad.
