I did a post a couple of days
ago that mentioned Neanderthals. In the
post I said that Neanderthal did not breed with Homo sapiens. This seemed to be a point of contention; so
here I list two conflicting references and a supposition.
1.
Adrienne L Zihlman
( Human Evolution) stated that in the area where Neanderthals and Homo sapiens
existed at the same time there has been on DNA evidence found in Neanderthal
remains that share DNA with Homo sapiens.
2.
Chris Stringer
(Lone Survivors: How We Came to be the Only Humans on Earth) states that
Neanderthal DNA strands can be found in certain races of humans today.

I'm figuring if a homo sapian woman was bent over picking veggies, a neanderthal would take advantage of the moment and get him some.
