MONDAY DON'T MEAN SQUAT TO ME NOW

When I was working, like everybody else, I dreaded Mondays.   But once you have retired (decided living on less is better than getting up every morning and doing something you had rather not be doing) Monday doesn't mean squat.

But for the working folks:

  1. Monday is one of my days off. The trade off is I have to work on Saturday. I have been lucky in one respect to owning my own business. I have control over the time and effort I choose to put into it. 20 years ago I put in 60 - 70 hours a week. Now, well it is usually quite a bit less.

Now my work fear is not the day, but what I have to face with regards to work left in pile on my work bench.

  2. Isn't retirement great? Every day is a weekend.

  3. Every day is Saturday!!

Then again, there isn't much reason to look forward to Friday, is there?? Unless there's a TV show you like on Friday.
