CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC?
President Trump is telling us that we do not have to worry about the corona virus, because it will all go away in April when the warm weather arrives. The CDC is trying to put a positive spin on their readiness; but, as usual, the facts do not match the reports coming from the White House.
We will see how this virus evolves; and if it all goes to hell, it will be the result of an unqualified President dismantling the Center for Disease Control's pandemic response protocol.

I am sure that those working at the Chinese biological war lab/factory in Wuhan will be pleased to find out that this mess was not their doing.

ReplyDeleteMortality rate appears to be a mere 2% so we're not exactly looking at a real life enactment of The Stand. It would be messy, but it's still not as nasty as some historic epidemic diseases have been, like typhoid (which ran around 30%) or cholera (50%) before we understood how to treat them. It's also lower than the mortality rate for influenza-related pneumonia. Media hype is leading to a lot of totally stupid hysteria.

ReplyDeleteTrump has been making me sick for 3 1/2 years now, so nothing new here. Some good news: the vast majority of Americans do not have enough money to invest in the Stock Market.
