IN DEFIANCE OF AGING

Ever wonder why I would call myself ‘Ol’Buzzard?’   It is in defiance of aging.  It is in your face to young people – fuck them.

At a younger age Mohave Rat would have probably called himself the Desert Fox, and The OldFat Man might have easily called himself Ulysses; I use to call myself the Mountain Man on the CB.    But now we are old – we know it – but we don’t accept it -  we call ourselves what other people would likely call us – but in defiance.

  1. I was the Vagabond on the CB which is what Kulkuri means in Finnish.

  2. My CB handle was the "one eyed Jack" because they are wild! Hit the nail on the head with why I am the "Mohave Rat".

  4. Starting to admit I'm getting old but I'm gifted with not having the aches and pains many old folks have.

COMMENT: Ben Franklin said, "I imagine a man must have a good deal of vanity who believes, and a good deal of boldness who affirms, that all doctrines he holds are true, and all he rejects are false."
