DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO PERMANENTLY GET RID OF A SPAMMER?

ly heng is spamming me with dozens of comments.   It is obviously a troll program as comments are generic.   Is there someway to report this to Blogger?

  1. You can set up your blog to moderate comments before they are posted. You could try going to blogger forum and ask a question about reporting it. Otherwise I ain't got anything.

  2. I don't know about reporting it to Blogger. I just go to the "Comments" part of my blog dashboard and delete spam as it gets posted. Doing it manually is a pain but I find that bot spam usually stops after a while or goes in cycles.

  3. I do the same thing, marking it as Spam. I also go into my gmail account and delete (delete forever) from there as well. I used to be bothered with this quite frequently and it has diminished greatly. When the odd one pops up I just do the same thing. -Jenn

  4. Yeah, the comment link up in the left corner is what I use. I have found that once I mark a comment as spam, it doesn't show up again.

  5. I moderate comments and when something shows up that's spam I mark it as such. So far nothing that's been marked as spam has made a repeat appearance. Try moderating for a week or two and see if that helps.
