I read this many years ago...but, hey, I was over looking at Squatio's blog and I saw that you can get MOXIE! I used to drink in in NYC...i had "connections" You say you don't like it, I love it! It's gentian root...a bitter complex flavor. Here we drink gentian as a an alcoholic aperative...and when you mix it with carbonated water, it's MOXIE with a kick! The brand I buy is a local brew called Salers, but in a the states, the stuff that is marketed is Suze....a nice version of Gentian with citrus....I love it. I guess like most things, like olives or oysters, it's an acquired taste, but once you acquire it, you are hooked, bro!
