GOOGLE CONSPIRACY THEORIST

Is this a big eye watching us?

I have installed and uninstalled Google Chrome three times.   How does the saying go: Fool me once shame on you.  Fool me twice shame on me.   But what do you say to the fourth time?

In the past I have had trouble with Google freezing up my computer while a message was presented stating High CPU Usage By Google Chrome.   Even more disturbing is the fact that on occasions while I was working off line (not on the internet) my disk drive would start to whirl and the same message would appear - I had to ask myself: what is Google doing on my computer when I am not, to my knowledge, connected to the internet.

Today using Internet Explorer I had a message to update my Adobe Player and when I accepted the download Google Chrome was downloaded without notice automatically along with the Adobe update.

I have to admit the Chrome is faster and better on Blogger than Explorer but what information does it collect and why?   I have seen that some of the pictures I download on my blog appear in Google Images without my consent (unless it is in the small print of the Google policy we have to agree to to use the product.)

Thanks to the Patriot Act we know Google collaborates with the government on data collection - but...

I am back on with Google Chrome - and fool me four times and I am officially a fool.

  1. Blogger is owned by Google. You really don't have a choice if you choose to blog here since Blogger updates don't stay compatible with IE. That's why the download of Chrome with your Adobe update. Which is also, I believe, a Google product.

  3. I understand your surprise. I recently bought an Android phone and after activating it, I noticed an app for Picasa, which I have never signed up for. I have an account with Photobucket, a non-Google entity (I think). I clicked on the Picasa icon and bam, there it was...every photo, graphic and visual I have ever posted on my blog...several hundred, in fact. Not only that, it loaded every...I mean every contact I have ever made in my gmail, or on my previous phones. Even ones I've deleted.

I am not sure there is a conspiracy going on, but I do know Google is fast becoming the owner of the world...at least the ether part. For sure they know exactly what is going on on my phone and computer. Somewhat disturbing to me.

  5. google is very suspicious to me... I dont use Chrome and never will , never put all your eggs in one basket, they are collecting information on people and giving it to the governments of the world, Youtube has been ruined by google, as free speech had become too free so they put a stop to that by asking for peoples Mobile numbers.. then they have got your identity and know everything about you, even where you are at this very moment in time, through you mobile phone.. they dont have my number even having asked for it nearly every time I logon ... very scary indeed,, people laugh it off , but this is REAL and happenning

COMMENT: Ben Franklin said, "I imagine a man must have a good deal of vanity who believes, and a good deal of boldness who affirms, that all doctrines he holds are true, and all he rejects are false."
