Hillary Clinton recently made the statement that ‘The Children are our Future.’ I am sick and God Damn tired of hearing
politicians, Christians, and liberal do-gooders invoking’ the children are our
future’ as their argument to support their agenda.
All the
fucked up, dysfunctional, ignorant, ass holes that surround us today were ‘the
children of the future’ forty years ago.’
And the
children of today are going to be the fucked up, dysfunctional, ignorant ass
holes populating the country forty years from now.
So give it a
rest: if you have to use ‘the children are our future’ to support your
argument, then your argument is probably weak.
Fuck the
children - they are going to turn into adults just like us.
That being said; we all have a responsibility to make sure all children are safe, fed, clothed and protected - something the Republican Party does not give a rat's ass about once the child is post-utero.
