So sorry, and I suspect most folks in Maine don't have Air Conditioning? We lived in Bangor, Maine many Moons ago, early 1960's. If it's any consolation it's been 119 here all Week, which, even for Metro Phoenix, is record breaking and too damned Hot.

In Alberta, we're having a relatively moderate summer. Not a whole lot of excessive heat so far, unlike eastern Canada which has had lots.
