Someone asked the question when did you know that you were old? Not chronologically or physically but just the realization. For me it was listening to the songs of the 50s, 60s and 70s, realizing I knew them all and that they were more than 40 years old. The singers are gone or old. Willie is 90+, Simon and Garfunkel are 80+. Johnny and June are many years gone, Waylon, Merle, Loretta Lynn. It just saddens me to no end as we will never know their like again.

It's sad that everyone we grew up with is dying. I wish we could be around for at least 5 more decades. The good ones that is.
