John Lennon murdered

Whenever we think there is hope for humanity, we must realize that there is a faction of mankind that is capable of the most atrocious things.

There is something about the killing of John Lennon that seems to be the seed that sowed the unimaginable violence we experience today.

Just imagine...

It was a nice dream

  1. I have a very different view of mankind's history than you do, but the world has room for us to have different views.

John Lennon's murder was a sad event.

  2. I wonder about all the music we are missing today. I wish we could have gone back in time to save him from that senseless death.

  3. I remember the shock of that news on this day very much. What a loss.

  4. I too recall the harshness of that day. You are right... it does feel like the “seed” in many ways. But we still need to keep focusing on real change for the good. Somewhere, somehow, there is a seed somewhere that can hopefully reverse what we have now.

COMMENT: Ben Franklin said, "I imagine a man must have a good deal of vanity who believes, and a good deal of boldness who affirms, that all doctrines he holds are true, and all he rejects are false."
