We may soon
be rid of having to watch and listen to the outrages of a deranged President vying
for dictatorship; but Trump’s minions have not gone into that good night. They are still here and just as dangerous as
ever.
Seventy
million people were willing to cast their vote alongside the Grand Dragon of
the Ku Klux Klan. They were willing to support
removing nursing babies from their mothers, and place children in detention
camps run by the same for-profit companies that run our prisons.
The outrages
of Donald Trump are too long to list; but the same seventy million that voted
for him are still here and are still his followers – including a majority of
Republican Senators that remain afraid of a Trump tweet.
At least, after
January 20th. we won’t have to look at his face every time we turn
on the TV.
The Ol’Buzzard
You're absolutely right that the real struggle is just beginning for the soul of America. But I AM glad that soon I won't have to see Trump's face or listen to his voice all the time on the news. That's a relief just in and of itself.
ReplyDeleteCan we relax yet? No, we are like abused children, waiting for the next slap. Only 1 in 5 countries headed towards autocracy turn it around. We the People did it! I'll take joy in that until Jan. 20.
ReplyDeleteThe top 30% vote for Trump for financial or similar reasons as nothing he else does touches them. They then finance the propaganda to convince the 70% who are anything you want to describe them as. That will never change.
