I guess if you really cared you could look at the 1957 pandemic numbers or the 1968 pandemic numbers, you'll need to check the population then to get somewhat honest comparible numbers. FWIW I'll bet there are a lot more 65 & over people today than in '57 or '68.
Comparing numbers is meaningless--too many variables. The real tragedy is his lack of response and the things he could have done and didn't. He has not even attended a Virus Task Force meeting in months (Dr. Fauci) - We'd all be less critical even if the same number had died, had he'd worked hard and tried everything within his power to mitigate the virus. Just handed it off to Pence, who is as smart as a fence post with just about the same degree of empathy.

Sweden which didn't do anything & has 586 deaths/mill population, the US has 694 deaths/mill population.
