My first paying job took 2.5 hours to get a pair of jeans, I remember that. We had a box phone on the wall and local operators in every town. Have em in my basement also. Love pull lights.

Twas a great list. But be honest, would you really want the Brylcreem look to come back? Tats and piercings are really much more interesting to look at and make fun of.

Memories - "A little Dab'll Do ya."MRMacrumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01414173517957120477noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5855180793926350647.post-55017956146731325462011-11-17T21:45:07.532-05:002011-11-17T21:45:07.532-05:00Jefferson 6755

Every damned one of those things, every one...and in addition, Saturday afternoons at the local movie theater looking forward to the latest serial installment...and throwing popcorn boxes, yes BOXES, at the screen. My grandfather would drop me off at about noon and pick me up at about 5. No worry about kids being abducted in those days.

It is strange that you should post this. I was thinking recently how in my lifetime I have gone from radio entertainment to NetFlix on ipods, two-party line phones to smart phones that do everything except dress you, and from encyclopedias to just Google any thing you want to know about.
