During that time people have allowed themselves to believe that as long as we have money we will have food. The government and big business (big goverbizz?) only think about short term profit but if things don't change radically in the way agriculture is practiced no amount of money will save us. It's good you and your wife will be growing some food. I wish we didn't live in a highrise but at least there's a farmer's market not far away.<br /><br />On a lighter note:<br />Perhaps you'll remember this joke I heard long ago: A teacher told her class that somewhere on earth a child was being born every minute (yes, old joke) and asked the students what should be done about it.
